Austin born and raised, Dr. Stafford has been practicing cosmetic and restorative dentistry since 1972. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas dental branch in Houston.

He is affiliated with the Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Stafford enjoys fishing and golfing, especially with his son, Lane. On May 30, 2007, Dr. Stafford managed to obtain the elusive Hole in One at Falconhead Golf Course hole #2 (and that's no fish story!). Lane received his MD degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and is now a neurosurgery resident at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
