Dr. Hollander

Since joining our office in 2002, Dr. Eric Hollander has been an invaluable asset to our staff and our patients. After graduating from Baylor University with a BA in Biology, Dr. Hollander received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He has since accrued hundreds of hours of continuing education in all aspects of cosmetic and general dentistry.

Dr. Stafford and ShelleyFollowing Dental School, Dr. Hollander moved to Kathmandu, Nepal, where his uncle is a dentist. While in Nepal, he worked at the American Embassy Dental Clinic and volunteered his time weekly at the Sechen Buddhist Monastery. His volunteer work continues to this day with annual commitments to the Texas Mission of Mercy and the THEO Dental Van. He has also been on volunteer dental missions to Honduras and Mexico.

Dr. Hollander is very active in the Capital Area Dental Society. His duties have included New Dentist Committee Chairman, Membership Chairman, Peer Review Committee, Treasurer, and Secretary. He is currently the President-elect of the C.A.D.S. and a delegate for the Texas Dental Association.

Capital Area Dental Society awarded Dr. Hollander the New Dentist of the Year award in 2006. He was also honored in 2008 and 2009 with awards for outstanding leadership and service.

baby boyDr Hollander and his wife Shelley have two boys, Hayden and Holt. With the boys only 15 months apart and their menagerie of animals which includes 5 dogs and 2 cats, there is never a dull moment in their household.
