FAQs

Q?

What is your cancellation/no-show policy?

A.

There is a no show/cancellation fee if we are not notified within 24 hours of your appointment; this fee is $70. All appointments must be cancelled by 3:30PM of the previous working day to void charges for a no-show/late cancellation.
After hour messages regarding cancellations may be left at 512-454-4539.

Q?

What can I expect on my first visit?

A.

A typical comprehensive visit will consist of a full mouth series of x-rays, cancer screening, thorough examination by the dentist and time with the hygienist for a cleaning to suit your individual needs. You will also receive a treatment plan for any pending treatment. Please bring a list of all current medications, including dosage.

Q?

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A.

If possible, please fill out all new patient forms prior to your first appointment. If you are unable to fill out these forms, please arrive a few minutes early so that you can fill them out in the office. If you have dental insurance, remember to bring your insurance card.

Q?

Do you take my insurance?

A.

As a courtesy, we will file your dental insurance for you. We accept most DPO/PPO insurance plans and will help you maximize your insurance benefits; however we are considered an out of network provider.
Our office does not accept DMO plans. Please remember that you are responsible for any amount not paid by your insurance company. Prior to any treatment, you will meet with our financial coordinator to make payment arrangements, if necessary.

Q?

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.

For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, all major credit cards and CareCredit.

Q?

Do you treat children?

A.

Yes! We believe that establishing good dental habits should start at an early age. This age varies from child to child and we want your child to be comfortable in the office. We encourage you to bring your child with you or with a family member to see the office, sit in the chair and visit the toy box prior to their first appointment with us.

Q?

Can I have cosmetic work done at your office?

A.

Absolutely! Most cosmetic cases will begin with a consultation with Dr. Hollander or Dr. Stafford, impressions for a wax up to see what your smile will look like when treatment is complete, any necessary x-rays, and a visit with our financial coordinator.
